At Brighten, our priority is to offer a calm, collaborative and safe place, providing opportunity to explore and understand what is happening and identify any changes you would like to make. From here, we can seek effective strategies for working with feelings, thoughts or behaviours you’re finding unhelpful or distressing. 

 

Our approach is based on the belief that an integrated, flexible and creative approach offers the best way to meet your individualised needs. This can provide you with the skills and knowledge to deal with life’s ongoing challenges. We are guided by the pace at which you feel comfortable to explore and move forwards.

 

This integrated approach utilises a variety of methodologies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychoeducation, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy,                   Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused and Strengths Based Therapies.
