Trauma & Stress

Trauma and stress, whether recent or past, can have severe and far reaching impacts on our mental and physical health.

The experience of distressing events may have left  you with a sense of fear, uncertainty, anxiety or being confused about why you react or behave in a certain way. The emotional and physical responses from such experiences
    may prevent you living the life you want to live. 

 
Our approach prioritises a safe place. Time and space are given to explore, process and connect with who you are and what you are feeling.  Flexibility remains constant, to ensure your needs, concerns and goals are prioritised. Psychoeducation, which helps us to understand what is happening in                   the mind and body, will also be helpful.
 
It may not always be an easy journey - but by connecting with the self, making sense of your thoughts and behaviours, you can take control of who you are and how you want to live your life.
